Angelo Pioppo

Like an orchestra of colours, this young French artist is successfully emerging in the international contemporary art world, carrying with him his personal cultural luggage enriched of exotic elements that he gathered during his long journeys in Mauritanian Sahara, South Africa, Cuba and United States.

Creating artworks that shows an almost African sensitivity for bright colours, he depicts really clear and definite two-dimensional figures of animals and humans that often create a homogeneous pattern characterised by a strong ornamental capability, a bit like an Arcimboldo of our times.

Angelo Pioppo studied photography and afterwards get specialised in art history at l’Ecole du Louvre in 2015.
He has already done many exhibitions, mainly in France but also around the globe and he has recently been received at the Taylor Foundation for artists.
